TOMI Environmental Secures $0.45 Mln Contract For Custom Engineered System In Rhode Island; Stock Up

(RTTNews) - TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. (TOMZ), a decontamination and infection prevention company, on Monday announced a contract to install a SteraMist iHP Custom Engineered System or CES at a University in Rhode Island. The contract is valued at approximately $0.45 million.

Shares of TOMI Environmental are increasing around 7 percent in the pre-market trading on the Nasdaq.

The company is also negotiating an upgrade and expansion project with a long-time Boston client who was an early adopter of CES.

TOMI said the new client was secured through ARES Distribution.

According to the statement, the latest contract adds to its growing portfolio, which includes over 20 biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and research university clients in the region.

With Boston's life science industry expected to rebound in 2025, TOMI projects its SteraMist iHP technology would remain a top choice for disinfection.

As academic institutions seek better decontamination solutions, TOMI's advanced technology outperforms traditional hydrogen peroxide systems.

In the pre-market trading, TOMI Environmental is 6.65% higher at $0.96 on the Nasdaq.
